Can you believe it, I barely can. This was such a hard process. We are having our wedding and reception at The Gallery.

Because we waited to make a decision our original wedding date of May 15th, 2010 was already taken. So we had to change our date to May 1st, 2010. I never knew how far in advance these wedding venues book but at least they still had dates in May available.

Now the wedding plans can really begin. I am so excited to start.

The places we visited over the weekend did not make the cut, we're still searching. I'm back to square one. I'm going back through my potential list, making more calls and setting up more appointments for this weekend. We have given ourselves two weeks from yesterday to make a decision. Keep your fingers crossed that we can find the perfect place.

So we've looked at three places so far. Spring Chateau, Lazy Acres & The Gallery. All very different but they had something we liked about them. Spring Chateau, is owned by one of Fiance's friends and we could get a discount. (save $$) Lazy Acres is also very reasonable but my Fiance does not want it all outdoors, he says he wants something more classy. So The Gallery is really nice, we both like it alot but I just didn't want to spend $5,000.00 on a venue but for what we get it just might be worth it.

I have a few more places on my mind that I want to check out but I know we are getting close.
